• For their achievements in the field of plastic working of metals, the employees of the Institute have received many awards and honours, from which the following deserve special praise:
  • 1st degree team award of J. M. Rector of the Czestochowa University of Technology for a series of publications on the development of modern methods of mathematical and physical modelling of metal forming processes with the use of finite element modelling – 2005.
  • 3rd degree individual award of the Rector of the Czestochowa University of Technology for the doctoral dissertation with distinction for PhD, Eng. Marcin Kwapisz - 2008.
  • 3rd degree individual award: distinction for doctoral dissertation on "The Influence of the parameters of the rolling process with longitudinal division of a strand on the allocation of cores" PhD, Eng. Andrzej Stefanik.
  • 3rd degree individual award: distinction for doctoral dissertation on "Modelling of microstructure development processes during controlled rolling of bars made of weldable structural steel in a continuous shape mill" PhD, Eng. Grzegorz Stradomski.
  • 2nd degree individual award: receiving postdoctoral degree to get a degree – habilitation thesis: "The rolling process of bars with the extended separation of a strand" Assoc. Prof. Sebastian Mróz D.Sc., M.Sc.
  • 2nd degree team award of the Rector of the Czestochowa University of Technology for scientific achievements in 2007.

  •  On December 9th, 2014 the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science together with the Rectors Council from Universities of Zaporizhia Oblast awarded prof. Henryk Dyja D. Sc., M.Sc. with doctor title and Assoc. prof. Marcin Karpiński, D.Sc., M.Sc. with Honoris Causa for their service and contribution to the development of science and cooperation between Poland and Ukraine.

Individual awards for Director of the Institute, prof. Henryk Dyja D.Sc., M.Sc.

  • Silver Jubilee Medal with a Zirconia on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Technology of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Gliwice, May 2005.

  • On December 21st, 2001 the Senate of the National Metallurgical Academy in Dnepropetrovsk (Ukraine), unanimously agreed to grant the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to the former Dean of our Faculty, Professor Henryk Dyja D.Sc., M.Sc,. The diploma granting ceremony took place on February 26th,2002 during a formal meeting of the Senate of the National Metallurgical Academy in Dnepropetrovsk.

 

 

  • On October 26th, 2004, on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the Scientific School in the field of plastic processing (Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys), Moscow hosted a diploma granting ceremony for prof. Henryk Dyja. He was granted the title of honorary professor of the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys, according to the resolution of the Senate of the university, taken in unanimous vote on April 15th, 2004.

  • On September 22nd, 2010 the Saint-Petersburg State Polytechnic University held a ceremony for Prof. Henryk Dyja D.Sc., M.Sc., during which he received an honoris causa doctorate. This is the third doctoral title awarded to Professor by foreign universities. Previous ceremonies took place at the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk and at the State University of Technology - Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys.   • On June 6th, 2013 the Senate of the Czestochowa University of Technology unanimously agreed to honour prof. Henryk Dyja with the title of Doctor Honoris Causa.- reportage
